Project Description

Lumadea is a cosmetics line based on snail mucin: a natural and precious ingredient that needed an elegant, authoritative identity with a high-end position in the beauty market. The project included the logo, the complete packaging system and brand communication.

The visual concept began with a precise intuition: the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio — the proportion that governs spiral forms in nature — directly recall the shape of the snail. From this relationship came the product identification system: each item corresponds to a number in the sequence, building the idea of a beauty ritual that unfolds in balance, from the face to the whole body.

Lumadea is structured across six lines: Essential Face, Essential Body, Man, Fresh, Pharma and Make-up. Each has its own visual character while sharing the same underlying graphic grid, ensuring brand recognition. The result is a flexible and coherent system able to embrace the variety of the offer without losing unity.

The work extended to online and offline communication — social media, trade fairs and printed promotional materials — as well as art direction for the photoshoot produced at Erika Banchio’s studio.
